To help you redesign your to-do list in a way that supports productivity and well-being. We explored habits, mindset, flexible planning, and energy-conscious tools to work with your life—not against it.

 

Habits are the Foundation

  • Habits shape our lives: 40–45% of our daily actions are habits.

  • Creating quality habits frees up mental space for creativity and decision-making.

  • Long-standing habits build neural pathways—meaning they take time and effort to change.

  • Reframing helps: Instead of “I should work out,” try “I get to move my body because I’m strong and alive.”

💡 Remember: You make the rules. You decide what counts as a “win.”

 

To-Do List Types (Explore What Works for You) 📋

  • Classical Linear: One-time tasks (today, this week, someday…)

  • Time-Based: Daily, weekly, monthly rhythms

  • Priority-Based: High vs. low urgency

  • By Category: Career, money, wellness, family…

  • Vision Board Style

  • Paper vs. Digital — pick what feels good

 

Helpful Tools & Ideas 💡

  • Use a beautiful template or app to make your planning fun

  • Create a menu:

    • Movement Menu: What counts as “movement” or “exercise” for you

    • Self-Care Menu: Activities that bring calm, joy, or energy

    • Having options helps reduce guilt and increase motivation

  • Celebrate achievements (big and small)

  • Create theme weeks or intention days

  • Don’t take your to-do list too seriously

If it takes less than 2 minutes—do it right away

 

What About Low-Energy Days?

Consistency doesn’t mean doing the same thing every day—it means showing up in a way that honors your current capacity.

Create low-energy versions of your key tasks:

  • Normal Day: Workout = 45 mins → Low Energy Day: 10 mins walk/stretch

  • Study = 1 hr → Low Energy: 15 mins

This way, you stay in motion without burning out.

 

Bonus Tips

  • Try solo dates! You don’t have to wait on someone to enjoy something.

  • Use visual systems and trackers to make it playful

  • Partner up! Accountability buddies boost motivation

  • Create a reward system that feels meaningful

  • Gratitude helps: Your brain can’t feel anxiety and gratitude at the same time.
