The Unternehmensgründerbüro Leipzig is the City of Leipzig’s contact point for people who want to start a business. Together with the Office for Economic Development, it has supported founders since 1998. We offer practical, accessible guidance for the first steps into self-employment and connect founders with the Leipzig startup ecosystem.
Our services include:
- Start-up seminars for aspiring founders
- Initial consultations on starting a business in Germany
- Individual advice and support with preparing the necessary steps, including help with authorities, forms and applications
- Orientation on funding and financing options
Our offer to FemEc:
As a community partner for FemEC, the Unternehmensgründerbüro Leipzig offers female entrepreneurs and creatives a first point of contact on their way to self-employment. Specifically, we offer the FemEC community:
- Initial consultation & individual advice: Clarification of your business idea, the next steps and your need for support.
- International & multilingual support: Guidance for migrants and international founders in English.
- Access to the Leipzig startup network: Connections to initiatives, incubators, funding programs and partners in the city.
